VillageBrewery.com
Village Brewery has deep roots in Calgary, Canada, and it was started with the desire to create excellent ales and lagers for friends and neighbours. They wanted their site to not only showcase their high quality brews, but also feature the people that helped along the way; that's why all the models are friends and partners of Village Brewery.

Little Boy Shoes
In this concept, I rebranded Onitsuka Tiger shoes by Asics into a counterculture street product. Based on Japanese post-apocalyptic film language, WWII references and Japanese kawaii culture, Little Boy contrasts the severity of the expression “Little Boy” with a smiling Buddha.
This project was featured in Applied Arts Magazine and Design School Confidential by Steven Heller.

The Core is Calgary's only downtown shopping centre. They wanted a site that would reflect the luxury brands, unique shopping opportunities, and beautifully remodelled building that they offer. We conveyed the style of The Core through a design that blends the fashion illustrations of Tanya Ling with playful elements that play with depth and space.

Control Records
My concept for an exclusively vinyl music store that caters to all those crazy audiophiles out there. Because vinyl lovers are in the minority, why not pretend like vinyl is the way to go...in fact it's sponsored by the state. Orwellian, but only with music. Design pieces ranged from identity and ads to collectible toys and store design.

Musician's Guide
Vue Weekly Magazine released monthly articles on "How To Be A Musician", a guide to handling the challenges that an independent musician faces. I was asked to create a series of Sci-Fi illustrations for the stories.
The articles are about home recording, studio recording, DIY releases, the modern record label, and strategies for conquering the industry.
