  • Best Buy Next Class Best Buy Next Class is a line of laptops perfectly designed for student life. Best Buy understands that students have specific wants and needs when it comes to their laptops - they want laptops that can be used for work and play, essays and chatting, graphing lab data and playing games. Our campaign highlights the two sides to students: their studious side and their fun side. No matter what you feel like doing, a Next Class laptop can handle it all.

  • Little Boy Shoes In this concept, I rebranded Onitsuka Tiger shoes by Asics into a counterculture street product. Based on Japanese post-apocalyptic film language, WWII references and Japanese kawaii culture, Little Boy contrasts the severity of the expression “Little Boy” with a smiling Buddha.

This project was featured in Applied Arts Magazine and Design School Confidential by Steven Heller.

  • Best Buy Spring Cameras Best Buy wanted a campaign top showcase their latest array of camera technology from DSLRs to simple point-and-shoots. In collaboration with the creative team, I designed a sleek banner campaign based on the “personality” of each camera. The client was thrilled with the result.

  • Of Fools & Gold Of Fools And Gold is the debut LP from Jason Zerbin. The artwork reflects the narrative of the album, the exploration and search for something deeper and more meaningful in our world. The imagery of sailing and discovery is used to invite the viewer into the adventure.

  • Lead, Follow FFWD Magazine asked me to participate in a series which features the work of local artists. My contribution piece is inspired by the idea of "the blind leading the blind".

  • Control Records My concept for an exclusively vinyl music store that caters to all those crazy audiophiles out there. Because vinyl lovers are in the minority, why not pretend like vinyl is the way to go...in fact it's sponsored by the state. Orwellian, but only with music. Design pieces ranged from identity and ads to collectible toys and store design.

  • Musician's Guide Vue Weekly Magazine released monthly articles on "How To Be A Musician", a guide to handling the challenges that an independent musician faces. I was asked to create a series of Sci-Fi illustrations for the stories.

The articles are about home recording, studio recording, DIY releases, the modern record label, and strategies for conquering the industry.
